1. Parties and scope​

a. this agreement governs makeup services provided by Dunbydev to the client on the booking form at t client designated location in Washington state

2. Booking, deposits, and payments

a. booking confirmed only after receiving a deposit of 50$. Deposit is non-refundable within 5 days of the scheduled appointment. deposits cancelled more than 5 days before the appointment will be fully refunded within 5 business days

b. final balance due at completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

c. accepted payments: cash, venmo, zelle, paypal, cashapp. card on file may be required

d. late payment: unpaid balances not paid within 14 days on invoice will incur a late fee of 25% permonth and may be referred for collections or legal action. client agrees that artist may pursue legal remedies in Washington state for unpaid fees.

3. Travel, parking, and site fees

a. travel fee: $2.00 mile round trip from artists business address to the service location, invoiced with the balance.

b. client is responsible for all parking fees, valet charges, or hotel bell/porter fees required to acess the service location. if valet is available, client must arrange and pay; otherwise artist may invoice client for reasonable parking or porter fees incurred.

c. if travel time outside scheduled appointment exceeds agreed window due to client delays additional trave/time fees may apply at $20 per hour.

4. Space, lighting, and Facilities

a. client must provide a safe, clean, well-lit, clutter free workspace with a stable table or sureface, mirror (if needed) seating for the client and one assistant (if required, access to a power outlet within six feed

b. if provided space is inadequate (unsafe, dark, no seating, extreme temperatures, or disruptive, artist reserves the right to pause, reschedule, or refuse service with compensation per the "Right to Refuse" section

5. Safety and Physical protection

a. Artist's safety is paramount. client must ensure a safe environment free from harassment, threats, violence, illegal activity, or exposure to hazardous materials. Artist may terminate service immediately if safety concerns arise.

b. artist may require an attendant or security preset at events or locations reasonably presenting safety concerns.

c. client is responsible for controlling pets, children, or other persons that interfere with safe performance of services.

6. Protection of artist property and kit

a. client is responsible for reasonable care of artist's kit and equipment while on premises. Client agrees not to touch, move, or tamper with artist equipment without permission.

b. client will reimburse artist for any damage, theft, or loss of makeup, tools, props, or equipment caused by client, or attendees at the rate required to repair the replace items plus any related lost income. 

7. Cancellation, reschedule, and no show

a. reschedule requests: may be made 5 days before appointment. Rescheduled appointments must occur within 10 calendar days of the original appointment. if client fails to attend the reschedule appointment, client will be charged 50% of the original service total.

b. no show: if client fails to appear without prior notice, client forfeits deposit and may be charged up to 50% of the total service price.

c. if artist must cancel due to illness, emergency or inclement condition artist with attempt to reschedule within a reasonable time frame or refund deposit.

8. Right to refuse and compensation

a. artist reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at any time for safety ethical, health, or professional reasons. if artist refused or terminates while on site after work has begun, client will be charged 50% of the agreed total for the time and partial services rendered, payable per payment terms above.

9. Health, Allergies, and Contraindications.

a. client must disclose allergies, skin conditions, recent cosmetic procedures, or medications that may affect services. Artist reserves the right to refuse services where doing so may risk client health or violates professional standards.

b. if client requests use of a product known to cause a reaction, client accepts responsibility.

10. Model releases and photography

a. artist may photograph completed work in portfolio, promotional, or social media use unless client provides a written request prohibiting use. Artist will not identify client by full name without consent.

11. Insurance and liability

a. artist maintains professional liability and general business insurance. artist's liability for any claim arising from services is limited to the total amount paid by client for the service.

b. artist is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost wages or event cancellations, except as required by Washington law.

12. Conduct, dress, and access

a. client must provide reasonable privacy and a flat, level area for setup. client will ensure adequate temperature and lighting. 

b. if entry to a private or secured building requires access codes, front desk clearance, or escort, client must ensure access is prepared at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.​

13. Covid 19 & infectious disease policy

a. client must notify artist of any recent exposure to contagious illness. Artist may require rescheduling if client or household member is symptomatic. refund/reschedule will follow standard deposit/cancellation rules unless artist cancels for illness.

14. Gratuity & additional charges

a. gratuity is appreciated but not required. additional charges (extra assistants, additional looks, same day rush, extended time) will be agreed in advance.

15. Dispute resolution & governing law

a. this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Parties agree to attempt mediation before litigation. if legal action is required, venue will be in the State of Washington.

16. Severability & entire agreement

a. if any provisions is invalid or unenforceable, remaining provision remain effective. this document constitutes the entire agreement between parties.

17. Acceptance

a. by paying the deposit or permitting services to begin, Client acknowledges they have read, understand , and agree to these terms
